Basic Initial Engraving
Sun 8/4 10:00 - 4:00
(Caleb Anderson)
The ancient art of hand engraving uses no power tools, just a graver and a mounting tool (usually an expensive piece of equipment but a wooden dowel and shellac can be a great alternative!) Learn how to layout lines, explore texture, sharpen your graver and refine detail to create personalized jewelry, even make up your own font!
In this one day workshop you’ll be using pre-cut sterling discs as your “canvas” so we can get right into trying your hand at this historically significant technique.
Skill Level: No Experience Necessary

Lab Fee: $10
